I Told You So

These are days to take charge.

In Jesus' Name.

I woke up wondering why I was feeling a burden.

You can ask God,

"Why am I feeling this way?"

"What's this all about?"

It came to me it was about a young lad

at the youth drop in center.

He has such potential for God.

But he's got an addictions problem and an anger problem.

There's a softness in his heart.  I've seen it several times.

Others agree with me.

But there's also a lashing out at times.

But for God,

there's a continuing troublesome road for him.

But for God.

I found myself shouting, "No!" "NO!"

The devil can't have him.

He's been coming to the youth drop in center.

He's heard the gospel.

God has a better plan for his life.

I believe that as sure as I'm banging away here on the keyboard.

There are times when we have to say it out loud.

God, I believe you for this person.

You intervene in his life.

You make a difference in his situation.

May he submit to you.

In Your love and Your mercy, draw him by Your Spirit to Yourself.

May he be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. Romans 16:17-20

Lord, crush him under this young lad's feet.

Give him Your peace.

May He surrender his life to You.

We need to know...

1) Satan has been decisively defeated in the death and resurrection of Christ;

2) he is being defeated now by Christ through Christians who speak the word of God and put on the whole armor of God;

and 3) he will finally be vanquished and thrown into the lake of fire never to deceive or torment the world again.

The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Romans 16:20

Now to him who is able to establish you, make you strong,

by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ,

according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past,

a plan kept secret from the beginning of time.

but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings

by the command of the eternal God,

so that all nations might believe and obey him—

to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. Romans 16:25-27
