I've been saved 37 years this month!

What do I have to show for it?

Lots.

God has really blessed.

I'm thankful for...

salvation and communion with God,

for family and health

and work and food

and shelter and money to travel.

Why then the frustration?

Because there's a world going to hell.

What am I doing to present Jesus to the lost?

Well, there's this blog.

I'm praying that it'll get to those who need to hear.

And I'm volunteering at a youth center.

Hoping to make a difference in the lives of some great young people.

And there's prayer.

More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams. Alfred, Lord Tennyson

And yet, it's becoming a lost art form.

Pray without ceasing.

Pray continually.

Never stop praying.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Is it serious?

You bet.

Snatch others from the fire and save them.

Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Jude 23

There's fire. There's judgment.

There's us with the job of snatching them from it.

In this as in every other human function...

we can not do this in our own steam.

It's God.

Beginning, middle and end.

God's power...
