God Likes to Move It

The leader at the youth center said we need to believe in the transforming power of the gospel.

Not just say we believe it.

Live like we believe it.

Demonstrate our belief in our words and actions.

We need to release faith.

Shine in the dark corners.

Get hold of God.

Not rely on our own strength.

No man comes to the Father unless

the Spirit draws him.

Lord, let the light of Your Spirit come on in the hearts and minds of the lost.

We are utterly dependant on You.

Pray like it depends on God,

then work like it depends on us, someone said.

He does call us to activity.

But that activity comes only after stilling ourselves in His Presence.

Keep on coming back to Him, confessing,

"We need You, Lord."

That's not a sign of weakness.

It's not our words that save people.

It's our heart of love for God and them.

We don't know what's really going on half the time.

All we can say is...

May Your Name be glorified.

We shall receive if we persist.

And faint not.

And not give up.

Apply much prayer.

Do Your work, Lord.

What's our work?

To believe Him.
