to lead you safely to the land I have prepared for you. Exodus 23:20

Let's not get bogged down over who "the angel" is.

Bottom line... it's God who is initiating the action here.

1) The angel is going before...going ahead.

I have set the Lord always before me,

because He is at my right hand

I shall not be shaken. Psalm 16:8

God first.

2) To lead you safely...

to guard you along the way.

Sounds like a journey, doesn't it?

A journey with a promise of the Lord's protection.

A journey with a destination.

3) To bring you into the place

I have prepared for you.

There's a destination that God has appointed for us.

There is a "Point B" in this journey that started out at Point A.

HE will bring us to it.

4) And it's a prepared place.

Think about it.

We start out, trusting God.

No fear because He has promised to bring us safely through.

What's The Place going to look like?

Not to worry.

Never to worry.

Trust and obey...there's no other way.

The place is going to be thee place!

Because God is preparing it.

He does all things well.

"The place" is going to be perfect!

Fit us to a "t".

I remember a prophecy many years ago.

"You are like a tree. God is going to transplant you.

He's preparing the hole. But the hole, the place, has to be ready.

You wouldn't want to transplant a natural tree without first

preparing the hole for it."

That prophecy was thirty years ago!

I put it on the shelf, but I haven't forgotten it.

God is preparing a place.

Every day I'm moving closer to The Place.
