Surprises WHEN He shows up.

See, we have to have an air of expectancy.

"What are You going to do today, Lord?"

Open our eyes, our ears, our minds.

We proclaim freedom for Your people.

Freedom from pretenses, from playing church.

We want You to blow the lid off the box.

It's exciting to be a child of the King!

Not worked up excitement.

Excitement that is a natural outflowing of what He's doing and about to do.

We need to be mission-minded.

Available for what He might want to do in and through us.

I'm amazed that God can be so specific with us.

It's not, "Take two verses and call me in the morning."

It's, here's what I want you to do backed up by His Word, circumstances, valued friends

and the peace of God in our hearts acting as an umpire.

Are you distracted by so many things?

Work situations, family, the weather, extraneous thoughts, health issues.

There's one key.

Keep coming back.

Start over.

Ask Him to help you by giving you a kickstart.

Don't wait for others.

Though none go with me, still I will follow... Him.

And...pray!
