Christian Commentary Encouraging Devotions

We want to hear from God about a number of upcoming things.

There is a verse that covers this...

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

do not depend on your own understanding,

do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge him,

recognize Him,

seek his will in all you do,

and he will make your paths straight.

He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6

Sound simple?

The hard part's the trusting and if we're having a hard time...

this clearly shows a lack of giving up control.

Are we truly His?

Do we mean it when we pray, "Have thine own way, Lord"?

He IS the Potter.

Are we acting like clay?

Trust that He has our best interests at heart.

You can trust our loving heavenly Father.

Lay it all down before Him.

That's the essence of trusting.

Laying it all down.

I don't know what to do, but I know You do.

The difficulty in trusting leaves when we meditate on His Word,

when we worship, when we surrender

and when we pray through.
