Remember how Jesus could do no miracles in a certain place because of their unbelief.

Couldn't...or... wouldn't?

Living in the past won't cut it. God's into the now and the future.

Speaking of the future...

Ephesians 6:10-18

When the evil day comes.

Not "if". "When".

You will be able to stand your ground. How?

First we must remember our struggle is not against people.

It's against

1) evil rulers,

2) authorities of the unseen world,

3) powers of this dark world,

4) spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Now that we know who the enemy is, we can take our stand against the devil's schemes.

Put on the full armor of God.

We're told twice to do this. Commanded to.

1) the belt of truth,

2) the breastplate of righteousness,

3) feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace,

4) the shield of faith,

5) the helmet of salvation,

6) the sword of the Spirit (the Word of God),

7) constant prayer in the Spirit.
