Coincidence?

A friend is quite ill.

Her daughter-in-law wrote the following...

"During my restless sleep I was stirred awake & felt compelled to get up & pray. You see, only nights prior Mom taught me that that is how she would pray for her kids, prompted by the Spirit of God, sometimes wakened from sleep. How could I refuse when God's Spirit touched me the same way? Once I was too tired to pray any longer I fell back asleep & dreamt that I walked into that hospital room that morning & she was sitting up eating, no tubes in her face, looking & acknowledging me with joy as I walked in her room. Once I awoke I was saddened at the reality I knew lingered, wishing I could know for certain that prayer had moved the hand of God that night.

When we walked into that room Tuesday morning I walked in on my own dream, but in reality. There she was, just as I saw her, no tubes, eating, coherent & out of pain. I could not quit smiling as I told grandma, dad, mom & the 3 kids of my dream. Some things you can reason away as coincidence but not a glimpse into the future. God was there, more real then anything I could have touched. If I felt confused about what exactly the point of prayer is to a God who already knows what lies ahead, I understood Tuesday morning. Prayer is a powerful way God will show us He is everywhere, He hears us, He will bless us, He is powerful, He is wise, His plans are higher than ours (& better) & how He LOVES to see us smile. As we left the hospital the children & I could not quit talking about the power of God, His hand, His comfort & the taste of a miracle!!!! In our family we call those "God gifts", those things God gives us that no person ever could.

Tomorrow will be a new day & we will continue to seek first the kingdom of God, and more of these things will be added unto us."

All praise to God who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms.

He loved us, chose us, decided to adopt us,

poured out His grace on us,

purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son,

forgave our sins,

showered His kindness on us,

along with wisdom and understanding

and revealed to us His mysterious plan regarding Christ.
