In finance, a bond is a debt security, in which the authorized issuer owes the holders a debt
and is obliged to repay the principal and interest at a later date, termed maturity.
I owed a debt I could not pay.
Jesus paid it.
Now, those bonds of sin are broken.
Psychological bonds, also called emotional bonds, are not the same as meeting someone and liking them, sometimes referred to as "bonding."
Bonds form between two individuals in proportion to the amount they communicate.
The strength of the bond in each individual is determined by the amount of communication he/she has with the other person.
So, that's positive bonds.
But seeing the word "Bonds" occasionally while praying, I'm thinking of them as negative.
Something, such as a fetter, cord, or band, that binds, ties, or fastens things together.
Confinement in prison; captivity. Often used in the plural.
Bonds that need to be broken.
Week after week I realize...I can do nothing.
I can't save anyone.
I need You, Lord.
The Bible says with God all things are possible.
Let's not settle for second best.
How bad do you want it?
Are you willing to fight for it?
Not using the weapons of this world, rather the weapons He has given...
Prayer, His Word, the Blood, His Name, our confession of what He's done.
He saved me.
He's able to save those young people who go wandering off into the night.
I am sure that God, who began the good work within you,
will continue His work until it is finally finished
on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again. Philippians 1:6
Let us continue to defend the truth and tell others the Good News. Philippians 1:7
That we may understand what really matters,
be able to discern what is best,
approve things that are excellent,
so that we may live pure and blameless lives until Christ returns,
filled with the fruits of righteousness,
the fruit of our salvation -
those good things that are produced in our life by Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:10-11
