It happened at work.
I was supposed to be somewhere doing something,
but I misread the schedule.
Oops.
What do "we" do first?
Right, "we" make excuses.
- Family in town.
- Other added work responsibilities.
- My boss should have told me.
- Etc., etc.
Boy, "we" are good at making excuses.
How about just ' fessing up!
I did wrong.
It affects other people.
I'm sorry.
Where do I go
When there's no body else to turn to
Who do I talk to
When no one wants to listen
Who do I lean on
When there's no foundation stable
Where do I hide
When the storms of life are threatening
Where do I run to
When the winds of sorrow blow
Is there a refuge in the time of tribulation?
I go to the Rock of my Salvation
I go to the Stone that the builders rejected
I run to the mountain and the mountain stands by me
When the earth all around me is sinking sand
On Christ, the solid rock I stand
When I need a shelter, when I need a friend,
I go to the Rock
- Aaron Jeoffrey
Yesterday the Lord gave me a verse to carry me through the day...
The Holy Spirit comes to our aid
and bears us up in our weakness. Romans 8:26
I had to "use" that scripture three times yesterday.
Today it was the song about where to go to in time of trouble.
HE gave that to me.
Later today another situation and another rescue piece of scripture...
I sought the LORD, and He answered me;
He delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34:4
HE gave me that scripture.
How?
I turned some music on in the car.
That's what was playing.
I am a strong proponent of getting a word from the Lord.
Here's a foolproof method for deliverance everytime...
1. Pray.
2. Pray some more.
3. He will give you a word.
4. Write it down.
5. Carry it with you.
6. Refer to it when needed.
