"It concerns me about what it says in the Bible about earthquakes and fires in the last days."
Tanya Tucker was not at home when fire threatened her Malibu, California home, but those who’ve seen her neighborhood describe it as "a war zone."
"Everything around my house was burned," Tanya said from Las Vegas.
"It looks like Armageddon," Tanya continues. " If you believe the Bible, those things are starting to happen, and more frequently. Maybe we should just get ready to go."
Tanya, who was working in Las Vegas when fire threatened her home Sunday, credits firefighters with saving it after wildfires erupted there.
The other battle?
People in the church are being lulled to sleep.
Largely unaware of the spiritual battle currently being waged.
How we need the fire of God.
It's the anointing that breaks the yolk of the oppressor.
It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder,
and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.
Our almighty God is omnipotent, all powerful.
His resurrection power is not limited in any way.
If that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, dwell in you,
It shall quicken your mortal body. Romans 8:11
We need to take back lost territory in Jesus' name.
Take our city, for example.
The downtown needs an invasion of His presence.
The good news?
Our God is not stingy.
He longs to pour out His blessings.
How we need His power to be made manifest.
We, His church, are for the most part silent, tepid, weak.
It's clear from His Word what he thinks about lukewarmness.
Oh, that we might hear You.
That we might see what's really going on around us.
Anoint our ears, our eyes.
