Whose Report Are You Going To Believe?

The doctor's?

Now I thank God for doctors.

My wife's a nurse!

I believe God can use doctors.

They can only operate with the skill and knowledge God provides.

Wouldn't you agree that their power is limited?

Are we going to limit ourselves to man's imperfect ability

or rely on God's unlimited resources?

The Bible, God's Word, God's report, says,

Jesus was pierced for our rebellion,

crushed for our sins.

He was beaten so we could be whole.

He was whipped so we could be healed.

By His wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24

Healed.

Do you choose to believe this report?

"Human frailty is another thing that gets between God’s words of assurance

and our own words and thoughts.

When we realize how feeble we are in facing difficulties,

we become like grasshoppers,

and God seems to be non-existent.

But remember God’s assurance to us:

Are we continually filled with enough courage to say,

"The Lord is my Helper," or are we yielding to fear?" Oswald Chambers

We either trust God completely or not at all.

Lord, forgive me yesterday for saying,

"We're trusting God, but..."
