You can count on it.

2) To live is Christ. Philippians 1:20

Compare Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live,

but Christ lives in me.

To live is Christ = to live out the life of Christ.

Once again it only happens by His power.

3) Esteem others better than ourselves. Philippians 2:3

Look out for the interests of others.

4) Taking the form of a servant. Philippians 2:7

Jesus, our example, gave up His divine privileges.

5) God works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

Giving you both the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.

The Christian life isn't hard...it's impossible!

But God gives us His power to do it.

What a key understanding that is.

6) No confidence in the flesh. Philippians 2:13

We put no confidence in human effort.

We rely on what He has done for us.

7) What things I considered worthwhile...I now consider worthless compared to knowing Him. Philippians 3:7

I consider ALL things loss...rubbish...garbage...dung...that I might know Him. Philippians 3:8

I have discarded everything else in order to know Him.
