Anticipation and Desperation

Anticipation is a faith word for sure.

Desperation is a faith word too.

"Nope…it’s not easy,

God never promised that it would be!

But…He did promise to be with us,

sustain us

and do in and through us what we could never accomplish on our own!"

"Radical faith is a much greater motivator than irrational fear."

The Lord did for Sarah what He had promised. Genesis 21:1

At the very time God had promised Abraham. Genesis 21:2

When God gives a promise,

He can be counted on to deliver...

at the right time.

Question is...

are we asking,

desperately asking?

Only then can we look forward with eager anticipation

to the fulfillment of the promise.

I have set the Lord always before me.

Because He is at my right hand...

I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8

Despite all the shaking that's going on in the world right now.

A secular commentator just tweeted...

"Gushers in the gulf,

double dip fears,

wars that seem to last forever...

many think it's all about the end of the world."

You think?

Men of this world whose reward is in this life. Psalm 17:14

That's not us.

"Your faith has healed you," said Jesus. Matthew 9:22

He still heals.

Confess with your mouth.

Believe in your heart. Romans 9:10

Get desperate.

Then, anticipate your answer

...in His time.
