Then, we're changed

so we no longer live for ourselves,

but for Jesus and His mission.

Where are you stuck?

In legalism?

In the world?

Or in between at status quo?

Jesus says,

"Take up your cross." Matthew 10:38-39, Matthew 16:24-25

Sounds hard and painful.

After all, it's a cross not a cushion.

He also says,

"My yoke is easy, My burden is light."

Contradiction?

No, His ways are right for us, even if they're at times hard. Isaiah 58

Right doctrine should lead to right practice.

It has to be worked out.

Played out in the real world.

Are we part of the harvest or are we hobby farming? Matthew 9:37

Are we ignoring the need?

How come we're not weeping for the lost?

Sacrificing regularly?

The Great Commission daily.

"I'm not doing enough."

I believe God altered my thinking to read...

"What more can I be doing?"

That's in line with following through with...

no longer living for ourselves,

but for Jesus and His mission.

Taking up our cross and following Him.
