If You Want It, Come and Get It

Wednesday night junior youth...

"This work is too great for us, Lord!"

Friday night youth center...

"This work is too great for us, Lord!"

The answer? Dependence.

Total dependence.

Nothing less will do.

We don't really WANT anything else, do we?

Have to stop playing the numbers game.

Too many!

Too few!

What to do?!

Getting rid of the things that prevent our pursuing Him.

Sang a song, "Hosanna"...

In Your Presence all our fears are washed away.

Another song, "I'm Alive Again"...

You shattered my darkness, washed away my blindness.

Are we willing to do whatever we have to...

to get to Him?

Thought came...

We're denying the power.

Let's not.

Bring it on, Lord.

Still another song, another "Hosanna"...

I see His love and mercy washing over all our sin.

Seems to be a theme...a need for a washing...

A cleansing from my own agenda.

Open up my eyes to the things unseen.

Laying down my life.

The opposite to fear is trust.

What do I have to offer?

Zero.

Man, what a mess I'm in.

I, I...!

It's no longer I who lives,

but Christ lives in me.

I have been crucified with Christ!

Really?

Experientially, not just propositionally?

And the life that I now life in the flesh,

I live by faith in the Son of God

who loved me and delivered Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20

It really is all about Him.
