Christian Commentary Encouraging Devotions

A new documentary From the River to the Ends of the Earth, is opening tonight, Sept. 18/09 across Canada and into the Arctic in 215 venues. According to producer Marney Blom, the film explores trends that suggest Canada is moving toward revival that could touch the spiritual, social and economic fibre of this nation. Blom hopes that the documentary will help Canadian Christians "catch the vision" of the specific role Canada holds within the community of nations worldwide, and pray in unity toward that vision.

How does revival begin? It usually begins with the heart. It is a call to get back to the basics in our relationship with God. Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind," and "Love your neighbour as yourself."
