to God who will fulfill His purpose for me. Psalm 57:2

Who performs all things for me.

Who accomplishes all things for me.

Who fulfills His purpose for me...

Not me fulfilling my purpose for me.

Him fulfilling His purpose for me.

Utter dependence.

Do you know what your purpose is?

Sometimes I think I know.

Then I get distracted by so many things.

Remember the story of Mary and Martha?

O, to get back on track.

My heart is fixed, O God.

Steadfast.

Confident in You. Psalm 57:7

Confident that the good work You began in my life...

You will fulfill.

Complete.

Finish.

Truth is I can't make a move without Him.

He initiates. He empowers. He moves it to a conclusion.

And all I have to do is...

It's summed up in the words of Jesus...

The decisive issue is whether they obey. Matthew 7:21

Do the will of the Father.

There truly is a reward for those who live for God. Psalm 58:11.

Not that we're in it for the reward,

entirely.

But there is a reward.

It IS worth it to live for God.

You are my defence, my fortress, my stronghold.

My place of safety. Psalm 59:9

I will sing about Your power.

I will shout with joy each morning

because of Your unfailing love. Psalm 59:16

Your mercy.

Your loving kindness.

Please help us against our enemies,

for all human help is useless.

The help of man is worthless.

Through God we shall do valiently,

we will gain the victory,

we will do mighty things.

For He it is that shall tread down our enemies. Psalm 60:11-12

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I

For Thou hast been a shelter for me,

a tower of strength against the enemy.

Let me dwell in Your tent forever. Psalm 61:2-4
