Scared of what could happen, might happen, usually doesn't happen.
It's work-related.
Fact is I don't get paid enough to worry!
My wife prayed, "Lord, help him commit things to You so he can relax and enjoy his work."
The opposite of fear is faith.
The opposite of worry is trust.
Maybe that's why David repeated it over and over again in Psalm 119.
Look down upon my sorrows, my affliction, my suffering, and rescue me.
Plead my cause, defend my cause, argue my case,
and deliver me.
Protect my life as You promised.
Quicken me according to Your word.
Many persecute and trouble me,
yet I have not swerved from Your commands.
See how I love Your commands, Lord.
Give me back my life, quicken me, revive me, O Lord,
according to Your lovingkindness.
Powerful people harass me without cause,
but my heart trembles only at Your word.
I rejoice in Your word
like one who finds a great treasure.
I will praise You seven times a day.
(There's a good goal!)
Those who love Your law have great peace
and nothing can make them stumble.
