Word on the Run

Ever feel too busy?

Just back from a holiday. (Americans call it "vacation".)

I'm not getting enough word into me.

No excuse, I know.

But work, work, work.

Then tired, tired, tired.

Still no excuse.

Word should be priority.

Here's what I've been grabbing on the run...

Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10

Say that several times over, preferably out loud.

Doesn't that minister peace?

Clap your hands, all you people;

Shout unto God with the voice of triumph. Psalm 47:1

There's a time for silence before Him, and a time for shouting.

In Him we have triumphed, are trumphing, will triumph.

(Note to self...weren't you going to write a bit on the theme "total trust" sometime?)

God will be our guide until we die. Psalm 48:14

Someone I know is contemplating a move.

That's something you need a definite word from God on.

It affects so many things, so many areas.

It's one thing if your company transfers you.

It's quite another to make the move on your own.

How we need His guidance.

There is no need to fear when times of trouble come. Psalm 49:5

Times of trouble do come. And more will come.

The good news is...no need to fear.

I DO need to write on "total trust"!

As for me, God will redeem my life.

He will snatch me from the power of death. Psalm 49:15

Trust me in your times of trouble, and I will rescue you. Psalm 50:15

And to him that ordereth his conversation aright

Will I show the salvation of God. Psalm 50:23

Word on the run is better than no word at all.
