Making Room

Tonight during corporate prayer "making room" emerged as one of the prayer themes.

Making room... for youth.

On Sunday several young people from a local youth outreach place came to the Sunday service.

Our pastor made room for them to share by means of videotaped testimonies.

Very powerful.

At the end of the service he made room for them to come forward to pray and be prayed for.

Excellent.

We're praying that the congregation will continue to make room for these precious young people.

God's in the transformation business.

The young in some ways seem more open to His life-changing invasion.

Making room... for God.

O God, you are my God,

earnestly I seek you;

my soul thirsts for you,

my body longs for you,

in a dry and weary land

where there is no water.

I have seen you in the sanctuary

and beheld your power and your glory. Psalm 63

God—you're my God! I can't get enough of you!

Are you thirsting? Am I?

Are you hungering after God? Am I?

Are we making room for Him or are we crowding Him out with so many distractions?

Making room... for prayer.

Probably one of the greatest sins of omission...prayerlessness.

And it's rampant.

Personal prayer.

Couples prayer.

Family prayer.

Corporate prayer, in and out of the church.

Prayer for our nations.

Prayer for our leaders.

Prayer for God's will to be accomplished in our lives and in our churches.

Partnering with God in prayer to see walls come down and works of darkness destroyed.

Making room for... your turn. You fill in the blank.

God, I pray You will so grip our hearts that they will beat in tune with Your heartbeat.

That we will know and understand what You're after in our lives and in the world around us.

That we might flow along with your purposes.

Your will be done. In Jesus' Name, amen.
