Getting Through Leviticus

Sure Numbers has its slow sections too. The census, the arrangement of the tribal camps, the Levites, the Kohathites, the Gershonites, the Merarites, the Nazirites, the test for an unfaithful wife. Then comes what's known as the priestly blessing or benediction.

Here's what I'm suggesting.

Read this blessing and fill in the blanks with names of your loved ones (or not so loved ones).

The Lord bless _________,

And keep/protect ________;

The Lord make His face shine on __________,

The Lord smile on ________________,

And be gracious to ______________;

The Lord lift up His countenance on ____________,

The Lord turn His face toward _______________,

May the Lord show favor to _________,

And give __________________ peace... His peace.

Let's aim to become a people of blessing and a people who bring God's blessing to others.
