...because they fainted, and were scattered abroad.
They were harassed and helpless.
They were distressed and dispirited.
Their problems were so great and
they didn't know where to go for help.
Like sheep having no shepherd.
As Your words are taught, they give light.
The entrance of Your words,
the unfolding of Your words gives light.
I open my mouth, panting expectantly,
longing for Your commands.
Guide my steps by Your word,
so I will not be overcome by any evil.
Order my steps. Direct my steps according to Your word.
Your commands are perfect;
they are entirely worthy of our trust.
As pressure and stress bear down on me,
I find joy in Your commands.
