always afraid somebody is plotting against them,

he is the one you are to fear. Isaiah 8:12-13

This is the plan determined for the whole world.

For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? Isaiah 14:24-27

You will keep in perfect peace

him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

Don't you want that kind of guidance?

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help,

(Remember..."Egypt" is a type of the world, i.e. the world system.)

who rely on horses,

who trust in the multitude of their chariots

and in the great strength of their horsemen,

but do not look to the Holy One of Israel,

or seek help from the Lord.

Not so much as a prayer to God.

The Egyptians are men and not God;

their horses are flesh and not spirit. Isaiah 31:1

in undisturbed places of rest. Isaiah 32:17-18

Sound good?

He who walks righteously and speaks what is right,

who rejects gain from extortion

and keeps his hand from accepting bribes,

who stops his ears against plots of murder

and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil-

this is the man who will dwell on the heights,

whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.

This is how you raise your standard of living!

His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him. Isaiah 33:15-16

And here's an interesting one to meditate on...

No one living in Zion (i.e. in obedience to God's ways as outlined)

will say, "I am ill". Isaiah 33:24

God said it.

No one living in Zion will say, "I'm sick."

Hmmmm.
