God sent His Son - they called Him Jesus,
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and joy he gives;
But greater still the calm assurance:
This child can face uncertain days because Christ lives.

And then one day I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain;
And then, as death gives way to victory,
I'll see the lights of glory - and I'll know He lives.

 it's not what you know, it's Who you know.

Do you know Jesus?

Right now, right where you are, will you join me in a prayer?

Father God,

You are the One who made me.

You are the One who knows me inside out,

all me fears and failures.

I come to You now.

I acknowledge that You are a Holy God and I am a sinner.

I turn from my sins now.

I ask you to forgive me. I receive Your forgivess.

Thank You, Jesus, for dying on the cross for me.

Thank You for the free gift of eternal life in You that starts now.

 Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You, my Lord.

Amen.

May you experience God's resurrection power flowing in your life on a daily basis.

Trust Him to work out His wonderful plan for your life as you daily come to Him in prayer and read from His Word to you, the Bible.
