1) Exposure
That God would expose evil in our city.
Nehemiah 4:13 ...
So I placed armed guards behind the lowest parts of the wall in the exposed areas.
I stationed the people to stand guard by families, armed with swords, spears, and bows.
Ephesians 5:11 ...
Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.
Ephesians 5:13 ...
But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them.
2) Control
Recognizing that it is God who is in control.
Romans 8:5 ...
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things,
but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
Romans 8:6 ...
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death.
But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
Romans 8:9 ...
But you are not controlled by your sinful nature.
You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you.
(And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)
Philippians 3:21 ...
He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own,
using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
1 John 5:19 ...
We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.
3) Conviction
That young people, all of us, would be confronted with our sinfulness.
4) Transformation
That there would be dynamic, outstanding conversions that would affect others.
5) Manifestation
That we would see God's power in our day.
6) Value
That we would value what He values.
7) Time
The hour is near.
8) Pressing in
Till we see the answer.
9) Refreshing
That we would hunger and thirst for righteousness.
10) Hanging in
Daniel prayed twenty-one days. There was a battle going on in the heavenlies.
Then he said, "Don’t be afraid, Daniel.
Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God,
your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.
But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way.
Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me,
and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.
Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future,
for this vision concerns a time yet to come."
