We need to be praying for God to so equip us that we will move mountains in his Name.
Mountains at home, at work, in our church, in our community, in our world.
Why do we so often settle for second best?
I believe He has already equipped us.
Unfortunately the power is so often blocked.
Blocked by what we say/ don't say, or do/ don't do, or think/ don't think.
Lord, send Your power and make us into fit middle men of that power.
The sad part of the story for Samson is...
Judges 16:20 Then she called, "Samson, the Philistines are upon you!"But he did not know that the LORD had left him.
He didn't realize that God had abandoned him.
We cannot presume to have God's power.
The whole thing from start to completion is predicated on this one thing...
utter and complete dependence.
Don't you want to be of use to the Master?
Don't you want your life to make a difference for the Kingdom?
We can do nothing apart from Him and His power flowing through us.
Lord, send Your power.
Give us the desire and hunger for more of You, resulting in more of Your power, resulting in more being accomplished for You.
Deliver us from spinning our wheels.
From going through the motions.
Empower us.
Help us to recognize Your empowerment.
Help us not to neglect Your power nor take it for granted.
For Your glory.

May the Spirit of the LORD come upon you.
